Examine Motives
For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

Who's approval are we after? Regardless of what we say, God knows the true motives of our heart.
When it comes to decisions about the money God has allowed us to be in possession of, do we seek to please God or man?
When we go into debt spending more than we have on non essentials, was that to please God or ourselves?
I believe it was Dave Ramsey who said, “We buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like.”
Before spending it's wise to examine the motives of our heart.
