Don’t Wait
27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them. 28 If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.”

In general Proverbs chapter 3 is about “Trusting the Lord”.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT) was one of the first bible verses I ever memorized.
Proverbs 3:27-28 instructs us to not delay our giving unnecessarily so. The reason we are able to do this is because our trust should be in God, and not in the money or “thing” we are delaying giving up.
