Don’t Hold Back

25 A slacker’s craving will kill him because his hands refuse to work. 26 He is filled with craving all day long, but the righteous give and don’t hold back.

Proverbs 21:25-26 HCSB

These verses contrast the slacker who craves, and the righteous who gives. Slackers tend to be individuals that want something for nothing. However, as the Apostle Paul said, "If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat" (2 Thessalonians 3:10b ESV). Whereas sacrificial giving is an attribute of the righteous.
